Human Advancement is a far-cry when we are living in a world
where human existence is threatened by man-made vulnerabilities.
I find it comforting to realize that the our fore-fathers from Vedic period deeply studied the nature and human behavior deeply and created objectives and principals for human advancements.
The Vedic idea of creation, sustenance and destruction as natural never-ending cycle is profound. There are fascinating details from anatomy of human body to detailed observation with mathematical proofs of Astronomic phenomena in Vedas. Cognitive ideas such as Generalization and Causal correlation find a place in vedas with clear use cases. There are well defined ideas to incident response to improve community resilience based on vedic thought defined by Chankya in Artha Shastra.

In my interaction with scholars and limited study of Bhagavd gita and few verses from Vedas(Purusha suktam, Narayana Suktam and Sri suktam), three distinct aspects of Moksha emerge:
1. The Idea of emancipation, enlightenment, liberation, and release - from Physical Body It is centered around a realization of a pervasive consciousness.
There are other intriguing concepts of human existence such as:
Grand Challenges in Heath, Education and Protection Natural Disasters can be broadly classified into Cognitive, Sentient, AI and Big Data Analytics use cases.
The emerging information technologies bubbling up in to prominence are
1. Deep Learning and Machine Learning
3. Sentient/Ubiquitous/Pervasive Computing/Fog Computing
Neuromorphic ("brain-inspired") computing system that mimics this neural selectivity by using artificial level-tuned neurons that preferentially respond to specific types of stimuli.

Consciousness is supposed to drive better inferences, Neuromorphic computing devices are built with neuron-like building block to mimic the brain. This field is in its infancy but holds a lot of promise of some day to liberate our consciousness from the boundaries of our physical bodies.
Bliss is in performing unattached actions to realize incredible outcomes. For me, Bliss is in creating resilient information infrastructure for assisting the community at-large to reduce human suffering, extend life expectancy and rebuild our planet in to abundant eternally habitable place.
Architecture for Information Infrastructure for solving these use cases requires a comprehensive Conceptual, Logical and Physical framework realize this path.
There is a need for Closer integration of Cognitive/Nueromorphic systems and Deep Learning is necessary for cross pollination of ideas to compare and contrast the outcomes.

- Health Crisis - Drinking water, Biodiversity/Genetically Modified Food, Virus Outbreaks
- Materials Crisis - Availability of Petroleum/Rare-earth for EV's (Lithium/Dyspersium)

- Global Political/Economic environment – Sanctions/Tariffs
Purpose and Motivation
Purpose of this conversation is to discuss the application of
emerging technologies in information infrastructure for improving resilience of
the human race and aspire for human advancement.
This requires understanding key concepts of AI/Deep
learning/Machine Learning, Nueromorphic computing and Pervasive computing in
the context of human interactions.
There is need for a Multi-disciplinary approach involving
Non-STEM and STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). This is a humble
attempt to identify, catalog and organize the information infrastructure
envisaged from emerging technologies to assist and facilitate advanced studies
by researchers from Science (STEM are) and Social (Non-STEM) areas based
on the Vedic thought.

Understanding of the existence requires us to sense the physical phenomenon both at micro level and macro-level. Advances in Sentient Computing starting with Advanced Remote Sensors to Underwater IoT devices,
