Enterprise Architecture - Then and Now

Enterprise Achitecture(EA) has been ever evolving discipline.   The evolution was almost always tied to the then prevelent management concepts and technology trends.   The correllation of  management ideas, technologies and enterprise architecture is not new.   However understanding these topics in the current context and applying the resultant ideas to emerging enterprise-wide challenges can be a valuable exercise.     Early days of Automation were inspired by Scientic Management concepts of F.W. Taylor. They were focussed on the following:   1. Clear Delienation fo Responsibility 2. Separation of planning from operations 3. Incentive schemes for workers 4. Management by execption 5.
